(Photo by Sunthon Pongpao)AYUTTHAYA -- Riverside communities in Bang Ban, Sena, Phak Hai and Bang Sai districts have been declared flood-risk areas, provincial disaster prevention and mitigation office chief Udomsak Khaonuna said on Thursday. As a result, water in Khlong Phong Pheng and Khlong Bang Ban canals in Bang Ban district and Noy River in Sena district is rising rapidly. In Sena district, water from the Noy River has overflowed to flood villages in tambons Hua Wiang and Bang Krathum which are now about 50 centimetres under water. The water level is expected to rise further, said Mr Udomsak.
